CCATechnology Solutions introduced Microsoft Multipoint Server 2011 to their educational clients. This Microsoft solutions has saved one of our K12 schools over 30 Thousands dollars instead of replacing 40 aging computers with new ones,  CCA provided the school with Multipoint compatible smart hubs imported by CCA to provide virtualized Microsoft workstations connected to local small Multipoint configured servers. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/multipoint

Why replace outdated slow computers with new ones costing thousand of dollars and substantial maintenance time cost.  Example a 20 computers lab was replaced by our solutions which provided a  virtual sessions of Windows 7 just by connecting a Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor to our smart-hubs. These hubs are connected to 2 virtual servers that provide a Windows 7 session together with all the productivity software installed on the multipoint server. This is a cost efficient way to give students their own Virtual computer connected to the school network and all their resources.

Multipoint 2011 allows the teacher to view and monitor each computer session by using their administrator console. This interface provides real time interaction with the students desktop together with web-browsing control to restrict students Internet Access so that they can focus on their classroom work during lab session. see photos
